What are Blood Spots and What Causes Them?

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL):  IPL removes blood spots by exposing the blood vessels that surround the blemish to intense pulses of extremely bright light.  These controlled bursts of laser light are enough to penetrate the skin and destroy the capillaries. Without any blood supply the blood spot will be ‘starved’ and will disappear.
